Improvements made to Decke Insulation Spacer Brackets

At Decke, we humbly pride ourselves on being the front runners in the insulation spacer market space. With the trust of our clients, we’ve gone from strength to strength. But what does “best” truly mean? We believe it’s an ever-evolving pursuit of “better”.

We set on this journey to get as close to it as humanly possible. We assembled a diverse team comprising engineers, product designers, die makers, clients, and roofers – our valued users. Together, we brainstormed and innovated to enhance our already “great“ product.

In an astonishing feat, we accomplished this within a record time of just two months. Despite initial skepticism, we overcame hurdles, revamped tools, dies, and fixtures, and swiftly transitioned into production. And now, we’re thrilled to unveil the remarkable results of our collective effort:

  1. Slide-In Mechanism: We’ve transformed the guidance strip into a robust slide-in mechanism. This enhancement reinforces the joint’s strength, capable of supporting weights up to 200kg on the join alone.
  2. Continuous Bracket Rails: While the bracket rails were already robust, we’ve made them continuous to address even the most extreme on-site scenarios. This modification doubles the pull-away strength and ensures unparalleled durability. Our brackets were already compliant with C3 cyclonic regions, but now they exceed expectations, making them suitable for C4s as well (subject to new certification).
  3. Wider Top Rail: By widening the top rail by an additional 7mm, we’ve not only increased the walking surface but also enhanced load distribution. This provides both additional safety and stability, making our product even more dependable and desirable.

At Decke, it’s our commitment to constantly raising the bar. We’re excited to share these groundbreaking improvements with you, and we’re confident they’ll revolutionize your building projects.

Decke insulation spacers are used primarily in construction to create a gap between the roof and the purlin under it.

Overall, the use of deck insulation spacers can improve the energy efficiency, durability, and comfort of a building, making them a valuable component in many construction projects.
